Comrades in Christ

Dear Comrades in Christ,

It has now been almost twenty years since the Lord called us to start a wholistic integrated agricultural project basically to share the Good News of the salvation of Jesus Christ. When we started, it was really a great challenge as the location that was chosen was out of the city and not accessible by car except a 4 wheel drive. The road was really bad, only about two kilometers from Donggongon and it almost took an hour to reach as sometimes the vehicle get stuck half way. That was back in the late eighties. The place was infested with leeches, scorpion, wasps, snakes and demons. We really had to trust on the vision and guideline the Lord had for us and, of course the indwelling power of His Holy Spirit.

Many strange and miraculous things happened during those years both in the spiritual and physical realm. Spirit warfare was a daily routine followed by hard labor and seeking the Lord in the morning or at any available time. Our day began at 3:00 a.m. with private prayer and worship after which we continue to labor in the physical realm.

We had old rubber trees but were abandoned. We cut them down because the price of rubber was rock bottom at that time but we left 1 acre still standing. We built houses for the workers to stay, chicken barns, cattle shed, a slaughter house with an office upstairs and finally, we also put a Chapel, named as St. Peter’s Chapel, with two bedrooms, a living room, servant room, kitchen and dining room for elders/pastors to stay and seek God’s presence or minister in surrounding villages. We dug about 1 acre of fish ponds, connected a gravity water pipe, built and maintain the road our self, put 8 LLS electricity posts and tried to apply for Talikom’s fixed line. This had cost us a lot of money and all our savings, EPFs’ and proceeds of sales from land elsewhere which easily totaled up to RM1,000K. All praise and thanks to the Father who provided the Fund.

NEXT PHASE OF DEVELOPMENT OF KG. IMAN
Joseph of old was the man in the OT, the man Jesus is the man in the NT. Prayers and work is the motto of FRV which is our primary calling. Obedience to the Voice of God is a Must; the golden key we must always possess. In sum, BA, MA(hons) PHD, DTS are the essential qualifications needed, and all these through the grace and empowerment of the Lord Holy Spirit, will see us through. See you in Faith Revival Village.
